Thankful

Despite having a double ear infection that resulted in his left ear significantly bleeding, colorful secretions from around the trache, and ANOTHER bout of C Diff..... this boy still can smile.  He AMAZES ME!!
We will be heading up down to CHOW tomorrow for trache/vent clinic where we will see trache rn, vent rn, Pulm., ENT, and the dietitian so that will be nice for them to check out the few things that have started to go haywire in hopes to nip it in the bud before things go crazy.  We were also able to be added on to see a GI doctor that will shed some insight to the forever returning C Diff for Danny.  We will be talking about having a colonoscopy done to see if there is any thing they can see that is giving Danny all these gut issues and then talk about a possible fecal transplant (yes you are reading that right, I know crazy...but I have been told it works) which is suppose to be the new and improved way of getting rid of C Diff.  Let's hope this works as Danny has exhausted all other avenues with no prevail.  Stay tuned and I'll keep you posted on how everything turns out!

Sometimes the best times are the down times.....one weekend Av and I did nothing but watch movies and hang around the house.  It was great just chilling out the whole weekend away :)

How cool is this painting that Av did at Brigade....she's a natural!!
Av is taking 2 cooking classes the last 2 quarters .... so she wanted to make us dinner.
We also made homemade dog treats - the pups loved them as the treats were Pumpkin, PB, cinnamon, and gluten free flour (Gunner is has an allergy)
Making Jolly Bread for dessert....YUMMY.  (biscuit dough rolled in cinnamon n sugar with cherries)

They were fantastic
Steak n Chicken teriyaki stir fry
She can cook dinner anytime.....it was fabulous!!
We went as a family to the PAC for the Broadway show of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas".   Before Dan and Av left for hunting. What a great show!!  Danny was awake and alert for the whole show, he LOVED it!  I highly recommend it

Our family photo's that were done at church turned out AWESOME!
Check out these two ~  My Loves, My World!
These two are not too shabby either
 My wonderful family!!
How lucky did we get having found Ms Emily to work with Danny?  Nothing like making me cry!!  What a keeper she is!  Not many people have seen Danny for who he truly is...in a matter of a few short weeks, Danny has stolen her heart and we have grown quite found of her also.  Thanks for being so wonderful to our Lil Man!!
This was Av's 3rd year deer hunting.....She's 3 for 3!!  Is there anything this kid can't do?!?  I had to give her grief for the camel, hahah.  I may be bias but isn't she rockin the orange.  Not many can look great in that
WAY TO GO GIRL!!  Out of 14 men at the hunting shack she got the first out of the 3 deer harvested this year.
Look closely up in the right corner....there had to be about 14 deer grazing in my backyard.  They go 2.5 hrs up north to hunt, why?  LOL
My niece came over to visit with her boy ..... I just love it when they come over.

Proudly showing off his artwork we worked on :)

 He's a great helper!!
The 2015 Christmas tree is up and decorated!  I got an early start on decorating the house and the tree this year.  Dan and Av were up North hunting so I figured why not....Danny LOVES looking at the lites and ornaments on the tree

The first time since we moved here 6 yrs ago I have lites on the house.  Just had to have the Grinch!

My annual ... Dan goes hunting and I get a tattoo :)  I had added the blowing dandelion to my "hope"
In honor of my fur baby Ms Bailey.  I added her paw print.
Not forgetting to add more stars in honor of our "angel" friends
Comfy Cozy and warm over here!!
This year Danny and I went Up North for Thanksgiving to the Shack.  It's been tradition for many a generation that The Newwood hunters put on the Thankgiving spread and when the families come out they bring out the desserts.  We haven't been able to go up there for a few years, so it was due time we went.
The pups went to Aunt Bonnie n Uncle Toms house.  This trip had a new twist ..... as they got a cat.  The boys haven't been near a cat so I wasn't sure how they would do.... Boy they were excited to go!
They were very curious of Charlie.....But Charlie wasn't too impressed they were in his house.  Thankfully the "cousins" started to tolerate each other.
 Happy Thanksgiving!!  Danny is ready

The Osero's up at the shack

No he wasn't tired?  Nap time before watching the terrible football game of the Bears beating the Packers!
Continuing with traditions.... we got together and make Great Grandma Kohl's Christmas cookies.   Oh the wonderful memories I had making them with my Great Grandma and now Av is making them with her Great Grandma.
The decorating committee

 Ready to be decorated
 Our baker, Bonnie

What great memories we get to look back on!  Love you Grandma...flour and all!!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I can't believe tomorrow is the first of December, the last month of 2015.....time NEEDS to slow down!!
Thanks for stopping by and checking in on us.
