Love her state plaque this year
Four year Sweep!!
Av was honored at the High School the Monday after state !!

The team banquet was SO BITTER SWEET!!
Coachie whom inspired it all and believed she had what it took - Av dove off a board for the VERY first time ever 1-16-12 in front of him to see if she would like it (she was much shorter then him then) the rest is now written in NHS history with these two.  Not only did this man take in a little squirt and build her into becoming an AMAZING diver, but unbeknown to him he was the one and only constant male figure other than her father in her life.  Thank you Coachie for being there for Av through thick n thin, good n bad and being another male role model she was lacking in her life.  Random tid bit of info ... Tim was the one that gave Avrianna her nickname "Av" as he didn't want to be yelling Avrianna all the time as it was too long.
Here's Coaches speech to Av ~  there may have been tears shed from my eyes

Av Captain Speech ~ Yes MY eyes watered for this one too

Once again this year Av was acknowledged at the NJSD School Board ~ NEENAH WITH PRIDE!! What kind words they had to say.....AND a standing ovation ~ WOW!
Av's Biggest fan!!
Forever PROUD parents!!

Av has made it official ~ She signed her commitment letter to become an Iowa Hawkeye to further her education with pre-med and her diving career.

The relationship between Av and Coach Todd started years ago when Av went to her first diving camp at Iowa back in summer of '13.  I knew she was going to love it when I left her (age 10) at the college dorms and she didn't even look back or want me to stay any longer than I had too.  Then when I picked her up a week later she was in tears because she had to leave as she found out there was another camp week and she wanted me to let her stay longer.

Osero's are going Black n Gold !!

Here is the video of the AD's speech for at the signing ~

She's a HAWKEYE!

The coaching staff and fellow teammates at Iowa have been so supportive already and believe that she will have an amazing future there
Time for CAKE!!
and now he sends her off dive as a Hawkeye

Check out this handsome young mans "school" picture.
Danny's inpatient EEG and ITB pump replacement went AMAZING!  The new hospital and doctors were TOP NOTCH.  I can't say enough good things about the St Vincent Hospital and the staff there.  I am so glad we made the choice to move his care there...plus it is alot closer to home.
Getting his EEG wire/leads glued to his head.
I am pleased to say that the EEG didn't show any active seizures, but it still was pretty abnormal.  Nothing we were surprised at, though.
Leads are off and ready for surgery bright and early in the AM.  They came in at 530 to take the wires off.
Surgery was text book and Danny even behaved himself while under anesthesia.  The new pump is now good for another 7ish years.
We actually could have done the surgery as an outpatient procedure like they typically do, BUT with him being new to there system we stayed a day for observation.  As you can see he was back to his silly sassy self right away.
The new nurse that was going to start with us decided last minute to NOT come work with us which made the last month a bit of a struggle, but we managed and the wait was worth it as a different nurse reached out to me last week to see if we were still in need of help.  She has already shadowed with one of our nurses and wants to come on board working on Danny's Team.  She is a PERFECT fit!!  I forgot to get a pic of her and Danny together, but don't worry I will introduce her soon.
We also are losing his new Pediatrician as she is taking a new position as a hospitalist so she will not be seeing patients at her practice after Feb '20.  Somehow we got VERY lucky to be introduced to a family doctor that is willing to take on Danny.  I am very excited to start this new chapter and hope things work out as well as they seem.

Once again The Osero's were able to attend a Packer Game.  A local SN family has season tickets and offers the tickets to the games they are not able to attend out to other families that would like to go.  I'm glad we were all healthy enough and our schedules allowed us to go
The stink eye to the security guard searching ALL his bags in his wheelchair..... I feel ya bud!!
 AMAZING seats!!  GO PACK GO!!

Av, Dan, and I went on an Official College Visit to Iowa University and had a wonderful time checking out the college and some of things it has to offer.  It was the first time in about 4yrs that I have been away from Danny for more then a day....thankfully this time Danny did great while I was gone.  We went to a home football game and got to experience "The Wave".  I have to say if you haven't seen it you should definitely have it on your bucket list.  At the end of the 1st quarter everyone stops what they are doing and waves to all the kids in the Children's Hospital which is right next door to the Hawkeyes stadium.  It gave me chills!  So emotional
I'm honored to announce that Av has Committed to become a Hawkeye and dive on their team.
Just meant that I could go shopping !!
Danny approves of the Hawkeyes and their colors ~
Av's Senior Dive Season is in full swing.  She is rocking the boards once again.  She remains undefeated this year... well actually is has only two 2nd places in her high school career and the rest are 1st.  Av has been breaking school records darn near everywhere she goes this year, too.  Will she get her 4th D1 Diving State Title?  Time will tell! The State meet is November 16th at 10am in Madison.  She is currently recovering from a neck injury which resulted in her missing the last dive invite in Neenah.  She turned her neck to stretch it out as it was stiff when she woke up and unfortunately sprained/pinched ligaments in her neck....just like whiplash.  UGH!!!  Thankfully we were able to get her to see PT right away and she was giving exercises and a rest program in hopes she gets better VERY soon as the Conference meet is in a week on Friday

The 4 divers did a 200 free swim relay the last home meet ~ Av was the 4th leg of the relay and boy can that girl still swim!!  She rocked her 50 free with a 27.41 seconds
Danny is still her BIGGEST fan!!
Dan and I are VERY Proud of Av....not only of her diving career, but her she's held a 3.97 GPA all her HS years, and most importantly of the young woman she's become.  We got lucky to have been blessed with this amazing girl
 Av's cheering squad!
Av was once again interviewed by Local 5 news channel and the story will be aired Saturday the 26th at 10:35pm.  I can't wait to see it tonite!!
The HULK team for the Captain Meet!
We got Av's canvas' and WOW did they turn out amazing!!

Our family was hit with another wave of grief with losing a wonderful man I called my Grandpa.  At least I find peace knowing he is dancing with his sweetheart and they are together again.
 His Final Alarm
The honor guard was stationed at the head of his casket the whole time.....so touching and emotional!!

Dan and I went to see Elton John in Milwaukee for his farewell tour.  WOW!!  The talent and stamina they had was spectacular.
Sporting our Neenah dive attire as we came to the concert after a West Bend dive meet.
Man can he play that piano!  Truly amazing!!
If he is near you I highly recommend you go and see him.

I had my surgery this week to have the fistula brought closer the the surface of my arm for better access.  Not an early morning person, want COFFEE!!

Markings made before they brought me in ~ we'll have to see how the tattoo turns out
Surgery went well and I was feeling wonderful afterward.  I was very anxious as the first one really was a difficult recovery.  This one I was feeling pretty good....and then I sprung a leak!
The next day I went back in as it continued to bleed.  Once in the clinic I found out the incision was wide open and my fistula (artery/vein connection) was sticking out of the incision ( I'll spare you that pic).  Here is it all closed up.
I kinda liked it better open as now the swelling and bruising is just like the first round.... UGH!!

Thanks for stopping by and checking in on us!  I hope you all are well,  Stay tuned with the adventures of The Osero's
