That's a rap!

I didn't think we could have fit all of this into one month....but we did it!!  The calendar may still say summer but the weather and our activities are in FULL Fall mode.  Here is the recap of our crazy few weeks.  I have to say alil part of me is excited for school to start, knowing I will have 8 hrs of the day not running here, there, and everywhere is going to be a welcomed retreat.

Danny would have been in 8th grade if we had him in school.  We still take "school" yearly photos of him for his book.  I don't want to gloat too much as he'll find out about and switch it up, but he has been doing well lately.

It's official she has her Sophomore ID and schedule already
The 2017 dive season has begun and they have already done some wonderful team "bonding" activities
The team worked at the Princess Mud Run
The varsity got to go hear Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers speak ~ photo op, JEALOUS!!
They've also gone rock climbing and zip lining

Danny went on a bike ride with Ms Emma.  He really enjoys going for bike rides!!  Go faster!!

I have to say I'm SO EXCITED that I was able to get handicap seat tickets to go to a Packer game this year and best of all it's against the Bears.  Sorry Danny but you will NOT be wearing Bear attire to this game....you can wear that at home and behind closed doors (LOL).  It's an evening game so Danny will be staying us WAY past his normal bed time routine and our seats are outside so I'm praying for decent weather!!

We attempted the Mile of Music downtown Appleton but it really wasn't accessible to wheelchairs or children as most of the bands/musicians were inside bars.  BUMMER
Well the trip wan't a total flop.....CUPCAKES!!

The Osero's were getting ready to head out to Ohio for Av's dive Nationals when the RV broke just hours before we were to leave.  It was touch and go with what the heck we were going to do, but Dan was able to get it fixed and we were on our way.  Will we ever have a trip without some crazy story to be told?
Av's good friend and fellow dive teammate, Lydia, came along with us.
Our Campgrounds was about 35 minutes from the poool
SO neat that Danny stayed up late with the girls to watch a movie ~ teens!
We were up and on the road early to get Av to the pool on time.  On the road by 7am which means I was up by 5 to get us out the door. Lots of coffee PLEASE!  We didn't have a nurse this time around so the EXTRA early wake up time was a challenge being solo.  Challenge excepted and I don't think I did too bad.

 Ohio Pool
 Ohio Dive well
Day 1 was on the 1m board ~ She was 2 points and 2 places from advancing to semi finals....it was so close!!

My FB friend Robin and her daughter came over to visit and help cheer Av on.  It was so nice to finally meet them in person as we've been friends for years.
After a few hours at the pool it's back to the RV from some card and domino games
 Day 2!  We got this!!
3M board day ~ unfortunately it wasn't Av's day and she didn't dive what she had hoped too but it was a great time.  Until next time Ohio
Roasting some marshmallows for S mores on the gas stove top with a rotating pole ~ Score

Seeing the competing was over with on our trip we took a day and went to the NFL Hall of Fame.
Even the electrical poles near the building looked like field goal poles
It was alil chaotic getting TO the building as we got there 2 days before their BIG 2017 induction ceremony and Hall of Fame football game
Inside was pretty interesting.  Despite the kids (and even me) disinterest in going...I'm glad we did.  It was a nice time, very informative and they had alot of cool interactive things to do.
 Danny WRONG team
His lil hand didn't quite fill up this quarterbacks hand print

Av is taller then the shortest NFL player
 YAY ~ Danny
HOLY $#!^ this girls got muscles
Av can fit in the mold of this players leg ~ amazing
 Put me in coach!!
You got it Av ~ Throwback gear
Room of head busts was cool and creepy at the same time
Av wanted to be apart of the head wall
 Danny checking out Brett Favre
 Aaron Rodgers MVP
Case of Superbowl rings ~ WOW!!  These are ridiculously amazing
 What a rebel!
After the museum we went to one of our favorite restaurants "Longhorn". Av had the giggles so bad that she was crying from laughing so much which was very contagious with the rest of us and I believe we were discreetly kicked out of the place.  We weren't even finished with dinner, at no time were we asked if we needed anything or even if we wanted dessert for that matter, and the waitress just gave us the check.  It didn't help the laughing matter when Dan yells out JOHN WAYNE at the dinner table ~ this is why we can't go to nice places.  LOL
We had just gotten back into the RV from the Hall of fame and we went only a few miles when we decided to go to the restaurant for dinner and Danny was NOT impressed about having to get out of the RV.  He too threw his tantrum making it known he didn't want to be there and when I scolded him to behave he overreacted and the next 2 days he was a HOT mess.  Thankfully we were on our way home already, but man can he turn things on and change the dynamics of a trip in a quick hurry.  With no nurse along this time he was stuck with his mom.

Av and I got our noses and forward helix piercing done.

We tried one more time to get Danny on the boat before summer ended.....but if it's not 90-100 degrees outside being on the water is too chilly for him
All bundled up ~ are we done yet?

We went to County Fair
Watching the truck pulls ~ Dan and the fireman were working in the beer/soda stand
 Animals
I did not know rabbits could be so big
 Shaved ice was a hit
Av is all into this fair stuff
Trying her luck to win Danny a stuffed animal
Way to GO Av ~ she won him a giraffe.  Where will find the room for this thing ~ LOL
Fair Goals!  Let's not forget the funnel cake during the truck pulls and the bowl of shaved shaved ice earlier
 Loving him some cotton candy

Team Club photos
What a fun group of kids
5 years together.....

We went to the Car Show "Twisted Piston" in downtown Menasha
I think it's pretty cool some of these awards were made with parts from Dan's car
Danny was checking out some awesome cars
Until it rained and we had to take cover so the vent didn't get wet
 Beautiful and bright rainbow

Night at the race track to watch Dan and the Jet Dragsters
Danny got to be one of the pit crew
Jet Dragsters
Team Heat "Scotty" and his crew were so kind to Danny

Helping Dad on the staging lane
 Priceless!!

Watching the fireman do a car extrication demonstration at the annual Firemen's picnic.  Unfortunately the ThedaStar Helicopter was cancelled do to it being called out to a rescue

National Dog Day ~
Ms Indy
 Mr Gunner
 Mr Sully
Ms Bella will be joining us soon !  She is at a local shelter and boy is she a sweetie, she will fit in well here.  As long as the other dogs get along with her she'll have her forever home here with us.  She is scheduled to be spayed and microchipped on Monday and then we can have the pups meet her (she also had kennel cough when she got to the shelter so we are waiting for the meds to work before we bring our dogs to meet her).  She was found as a stray in southern WI and brought up here as the shelter she was at was over populated. No one is really sure what breed she is.

Yes I got on the eclipse bandwagon.  Av was on her way back from a retreat and didn't get to see much but I was able to snap a few photos while wearing Dan's welding helmet

Snow cone celebration

Dan and I went to see Stevie Nicks in concert in GreenBay.  Unfortunately we had 4 very drunk and rude Hyenas behind us so listening to them scream, yell, swear, and talk most of the concert was very disappointing.  They were so bad the women a row ahead of us said something to them and so did I....well that just fueled these ladies disrespect level.  They held their liquor well.... NOT!
For 68 years old ~ she's still got it

2017 NHS swim and dive team photos.  My behind the scene photos
 Dive Team

The dive team had their first meet this weekend in New Berlin.
First place!!  What a great way to start of the new season

Someone got new glasses for the school year.....looking so professional

Well that was most of our August....and we still have a week to go.  Are you as exhausted at I am?!  LOL  With all of this running I have to say I am doing pretty good.  I had a scary episode of vision issues, but it only lasted a few hours and I can only hope it doesn't come back.  I do have an appt to see my neuro and have my vision rechecked so we'll see what comes from those appts. IF the stress from 2 computers crashing on me in 2 weeks doesn't set me over the edge.....I think I'll be ok.  It's amazing how much I rely on them...as when they die it's painful to try and get lost info and have to start all over again.  Then multiple that time 2 ~ Sigh....technology is going to be the death of me!!
Thanks for stopping by and checking in on us.
