Sleepy & Congested ~2nd post

Well Danny is being in TRUE Danny form. This last few days he has been more lethargic then normal and now today is congested, ugh! I have started doing Mr Jiggles more, in hopes to knock the "crap" out, heehee. Leave it to Danny to be "off" right before we have to leave. The only bonus with this is I got to tear the condo apart, clean it, and put it back together again. Plus I have pretty much everything packed to go home, now I just have to get it in the RV. I am hoping we can spend the weekend enjoying the Florida weather, but something tells me Danny's got something up his sleeve.
Yesterday was Danny's last therapy at KIDspirit, so sad. Avrianna bawled the whole way home...she's going to miss that place too. Now doesn't that show how awesome a place and how wonderful the people are there! Love you guys, we will miss you!!
Today Danny was suppose to have his last therapies at the house from the school district, but Danny wouldn't wake up. So the Teacher was pretty much out to just pick up the equipment and I called the Speech therapist to tell her to not come out, it would be a waste of her time. Sorry :( .....we'll see you guys next Fall and I hope Danny cooperates for you guys better.
Dan flies in late Sunday night and I know we are all VERY excited to see him. I'm sure after 2 months of being alone with me the kids are sick of ME. They can't wait to have their daddy around. We plan on starting our travels back to WI on Tuesday so if things go well we should be back by Wednesday/Thursday. It all depends on how many times we stop.
Our walk is on May 30th so ~ Please pledge your donations HERE and sponsor us in our walk for the Fox Valley Sibling Support Network fundraising walk. To read more on the FVSSN
Our friend Matt is out of surgery and doing well...keep praying for an easy extubation so he can be back on his bipap soon.
Thanks for following us!!

Daddy's on his Way!!

Well Dan should be here tonight around 12:30. He is in the air and on his way! Avrianna is SOOO excited and I'm sure Danny can't wait till he can see is Dad again too. Avrianna was going to try to stay up to see her Daddy walk in the door but she didn't make it. Tomorrow morning will be full of excitement around here let me tell you. Once the commotion settles down we are all going on a train ride. I've never been on a passenger train before so it should be fun....I hope. The ride is about 2 hours long and they have the holiday theme going on.....it called the "Jingle Bell Express". I believe they are going to have a reading of The Polar Express, snacks, and some arts and crafts so it should be a great time. The kids are going to miss out on some of the Christmas things that we usually do in Wisconsin so I thought this would be nice second. We'll see!
After the train ride...I am taking Danny to his last physical therapy session at Kidspirit with Ms Becky....so sad. But not for long, don't worry we'll be back Ms Becky!! Danny was very cooperative today for Ms Becky and he even kept his eyes open for her the whole session this time, YAY!!
I gave Danny a hair cut today so he is all clean and cut. YAY! He still continued to NOT pee today (AT ALL) so I am hoping he will kick start again soon. I HATE to cath my poor lil guy every 3-4 hours all day long, sigh. It makes both of our days longer then it has to be.
Dan is bringing back the camera so I hope to get some new pictures from our train ride on here. I will update tomorrow. Take care
*** Don't forget to send your pictures and messages for Danny's Christmas scrapbook. Send them to my email or email me and I can get you my address. Thanks ***

Twinkling Smile

Kodak moment......I just have to share. While Lil man was relaxing on the couch today I put the telephone to his ear, when I was talking to Dan. Danny gave me this look of what is on my head and then Dan spoke...........OMG, the smile that instantly appeared on his face when he heard his daddy's voice. He was so excited he was opening his mouth as if to talk but he just couldn't find his voice today, that's ok, the smile said it ALL. I wish I had a camera to capture that. We MISS YOU DADDY...see you soon!!

Today was very dreary around here. This morning it was VERY windy and by the afternoon the rain came in. With the high winds and HEAVY rain it was a good day to stay inside. So I cleaned the condo, did laundry, watched movies and played games with the kids. Avrianna put up a blanket tent in my dining room and she "thinks" she is going to sleep in there tonight....we'll see how long sleeping on a tile floor will last, heehee What a good day to get caught up on things around here. Now we are all ready for Dan to come back, he will be returning to Florida late Tuesday night. The neighbors have asked if they could help out by watching the kids for me so then I can take the van to the airport and leave it there for when Dan comes in (around midnight) and then I don't have to drag the kids out to pick him up. Thanks, Linda & Collin!!

Tomorrow Speech will be here in the morning and I am assuming she will be taking back the toys/equipment as this will be her last visit till we come back in February and they won't allow me to use them for our "visit" back to WI. I might be able to keep them till Thursday and give the stuff back to the Teacher when she comes on her last visit. I hope so as I will be able to show Dan some of the cool things Danny has been doing down here. I have forwarded the things Danny is using down here up to WI to see if we can get the equipment and programs that he is currently using and is so much enjoying.

***Again please send your pictures and messages for Danny to me as soon as possible so I can get his TOUCHED BY DANNY'S LIFE scrapbook completed by Christmas. Avrianna and I are so excited to put it together for him. What a wonderful keep sake that we can continue to add to and to enjoy forever!! I am so hoping it will turn out like the vision I have in my head.

Take care!
